We were commissioned to create this custom slice of river as a piece of wooden wall art by a client who specified a personally meaningful location.

Accurate topography data was used to hand draw and cut the individual layers from thin MDF board. The layers were then laminated together and painted in a colour palette to suit the client’s decor. This one with a pastel blue palette with copper accent.

Typically, we create a mock-up image to visualise how the final piece will look before going into production. This is especially useful for interior designers who want to put final concepts together to present to clients.
