To bring Izzard Design's vision for Pavilion Bar & Kitchen in Queenstown to life, we were commissioned to craft custom bar-front panels for the food and beverage area, aligning with the studio's leading interior design aesthetic.

GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete) was the ideal material choice, delivering an authentic concrete look and feel without the heavy, labour-intensive formwork and casting required for traditional in-situ concrete.

Precast off-site, these lightweight 15mm-thick panels were meticulously crafted to match design specifications and installed seamlessly in just hours, fitting perfectly into the supporting framework. This precast approach minimised disruption during the fit-out, eliminating the need for on-site pouring, curing, and extensive cleanup associated with in-situ casting, ensuring a faster, cleaner, and more efficient installation process.

We prepared a sample in the specified colour and with with the desired amount of texture for sign-off. This was approved and from there, went into production.
