A segment of the Rakaia River cast in two layers of lightweight concrete with a wooden frame.

Using geographic data, we capture a segment of the river, or any feature, and create formwork for it.

This is then used to cast one or more layers of the feature that hover above the back layer resulting in a three dimensional artwork that changes in perceived depth depending on the lighting angle.
