We make things
that cannot be found
anywhere else.
Unfound is an artist studio.
Sculpture, installation, and bespoke fabrication
for private collectors, public spaces, and brands.
ARTIST STATEMENT
We are drawn to the weight of things — the permanence of concrete, the grain-memory of hand-worked timber, the resistance of materials that take effort to shape. Making by hand is not nostalgia; it is precision of a different kind.
Our work exists at the intersection of sculpture and function. A piece may anchor a public plaza or a private garden, hold a room in a hospitality fit-out, or stand alone as a collected object. In each case the intention is the same: to make something that rewards prolonged attention, and outlasts the context it was made for.
Unfound is an artist studio. Our commercial work is an extension of that practice.
Selected Works

A studio defined by what it is willing to attempt.
We are Brad and Anni, two makers working from our studio in Christchurch. Between us we hold decades of experience across visual communication, design, and hands-on fabrication. We take on commissions others consider impractical, and we prefer briefs that begin with an image rather than a specification.
Our primary material is low-carbon glass fibre reinforced concrete — lightweight, durable, and responsive to sculpting in a way that traditional concrete is not. We work alongside it in timber, acrylic, copper, and mixed media.
We collaborate regularly with architects, interior designers, and landscape architects — working from your plans, matching your specifications, and producing elements that no supplier catalogue carries.
